I had a late start and stayed on back roads for half of the way, it was nice the rt13 and rt15 in NY/PA are quite scenic and it was a nice and easy ride going through mountains and valleys while passing little charming towns.
Once I got to Harrisburg it was time to get on HWY 81 to catch up on time, I did get some rain splashes along the way but nothing serious, so I made it to Harrisonburg VA in decent time and that makes a half way point mark to the Deals' gap, I should be the tomorrow and depending on weather I might stay there for one or two nights,
